What guarantees do I have?

When do I pay?

If you are completely
satisfied with the results of the clean
-you pay our technician on the day, we
accept cash or cheques payable to
Kennet Valley Chem-Dry. We also accept most major credit and debit cards.

When can I have the work done?
|

Our normal
working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to
6pm however we do have limited availability
at Weekends. You may have to wait a little
longer for a weekend appointment.

Would I have to clear the room?
|
| A: |
No.
As the carpets do not get very wet using the
Chem-Dry system, there is no need to move
furniture out. Our technician will move the
furniture around in the room, and put it all
back in place once he has finished. All we
ask is that you remove small items,
ornaments, etc., clear up any loose bits and
pieces lying around and put away any
valuable items etc.
Please note that our technician will move
everything that can reasonably be expected
to be moved, but if you want cupboards/
dressers full of crockery, glassware or other
fragile or very heavy items moved, we require
you to empty them prior to our arrival.
We can clean right up to furniture with
complete safety and can also clean
underneath furniture with more than 4
inches ground clearance.
We cannot take responsibility for any damage
to electrical equipment caused by
disconnecting or reconnecting and we would
therefore ask you to disconnect Hi-Fi's and
TV /Video installations if you require them to
be moved.

Is it safe for my children?

process, not only can you trust Chem-Dry to
care for your carpets and upholstery, you can
trust them to look after your family, especially
your children. As Chem-Dry servicing doesn't
leave carpets soaking wet and it has a neutral
pH, this means children can play on them in
complete safety.

What about Dust Mites
|

Dust Mites are small anthrapods,
which live among the dust in your
house. They will reside in dust
contained in all kinds of soft
furnishings and the fecal pellets
which mites egest, accumulate in
home fabrics and are allergenic.
Studies have shown that there is a
relationship between the prevalence
of asthma in adults and children,
and the common Dust Mites found in
the home. Chem-Dry service helps
reduce Dust Mites, it sanitises and
cleans with non-toxic ingredients by
penetrating deeply into fabrics and
carpets and removes much of the

How long will it take to dry?
|

Because we leave carpets only slightly damp,
drying usually takes less than two hours.
Upholstered items can take up to twelve
hours, depending on the nature of the fabric
and the degree of soiling.
